NVEANGUS has established a scholarship program to assist association members and their dependents in their pursuit of advanced educational and academic opportunities. The scholarship program is open to enlisted members of the Nevada Air and Army National Guard, retirees of the Nevada National Guard (Air or Army), and dependents of any of the previously listed groups. Additionally, all applicants must be a member, or dependent of a member, in good standing of NVEANGUS. Scholarships will be awarded annually for eligible applicants who are currently attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school after graduation from high school.
This year we will be providing 1 (ONE) scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00.
All applicants are evaluated individually based on academic achievement, leadership and citizenship, financial need and any other information provided within the application.
Eligibility Information
To apply for a Nevada EANGUS scholarship, applicants must be:
1 — A current or retired member of the Nevada National Guard and a current member of NVEANGUS (Associate Members are not eligible for scholarships)
or
2 — A dependent of a current member of NVEANGUS JOIN NVEANGUS NOW
AND
3 — A current student in good standing at an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school or a graduating high school senior planning to attend an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school.

The application will be submitted online below and all mandatory items are annotated with an asterisk.

b. Awards, honors, extracurricular activities and organizational involvement
c. Financial need for scholarship consideration
d. Civic involvement, moral leadership, or other constructive characteristics demonstrating commitment to community, state and/or country

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF NVEANGUS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS:
The application period is from FEBRUARY 6, 2025 to MARCH 7, 2025. Application packages must be completed and submitted no later than MARCH 7, 2025.

Selection Information
Selection of the scholarship recipient is based upon the merits of the submitted application. The decision of NVEANGUS for the scholarship recipient is final. Official notification of scholarship recipient will be contacted individually ane then publicily announced via nevadaeangus.org.
